What is a trademark?
A trademark is a word, phrase, or logo that distinguishes your goods or services from those of your competitors. Registering your trademark early in the branding process ensures you get and protect the name you want – and that no other company can use it.
a little bit about me...
I'm a firm believer that legal issues don’t have to be confusing or scary. I strive to make the process as approachable and painless as possible – and sometimes even fun! Every business deserves a dedicated partner to guide them on their journey, even if they're not quite big enough for their own full-time lawyer.
With over a decade of experience advising businesses on their legal issues, I know the areas most likely to cause your business trouble down the road. It's hard to know what really matters when you're in the weeds every day. My job is to take a step back, identify those key issues, and make a plan for dealing with them so your business can stay ahead of the competition.
