After working at two of the country's largest law firms, Kate founded Kliebert Law to collaborate with her clients on a more personal level. Her ability to anticipate problems before they arise allows her to tackle obstacles proactively, saving her clients time and money.
In her litigation practice, Kate has defended individuals against claims seeking to hold them personally responsible for company debts and has successfully represented businesses both offensively and defensively in contract disputes.
Kate also enjoys advising businesses and has helped clients implement innovative digital platforms and enhanced marketing campaigns in ways that minimize privacy risks to the clients and their customers.
While maintaining an active pro bono practice, Kate has aided foreign nationals seeking the return of abducted children through the Hague Convention Attorney Network and has assisted an unaccompanied minor seeking special immigrant juvenile status in the United States. Before entering private practice, Kate clerked for the Honorable Jane Triche Milazzo in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys scuba diving and exploring the mountains with her dog, Stella. She recently had the pleasure of diving with this fun-loving sea turtle.
